A conference on "the partnership with Algeria", organised by the Algerian-British Business Counsil (ABBC) in collaboration with the “Forum des Chefs d’entreprises” (Forum of Heads of enterprises-FCE), took place, on October 8, 2015 in London.
Around forty Algerian business leaders from the private sector, led by the President of the FCE, M. Ali Haddad, took part in this meeting, which set a goal to bring together these economic operators with their British counterpart. Lord Risby, Representative of the British Prime Minister David Cameron, and M. Andrew Noble, the British Ambassador to Algeria were among the guests.
Several activities highlighted the stay of the Algerian delegation, including business to business contacts with British operators, a visit to the London Stock Exchange (LSE) where prospects for cooperation with both the FCE and the Stock Exchange of Algiers have been identified and a meeting with the Lord Mayor of the City, recently elected.
